Explore the natural beauty and culture of Guwahati, Kaziranga, and Shillong in a 5-night tour with comfortable hotel stays, private car for transfers and sightseeing, and a visit to the famous Kaziranga National Park, home of the one-horned rhino.
Welcome on arrival at Guwahati Airport and transfer to the hotel. Situated on the South Bank of the river Brahmaputra, this is the largest city of Assam, a major riverine port city, and one of the fastest-growing cities in India. Many ancient Hindu temples are in the city, giving it the name “City of Temples,” the most important being Kamakhya Temple. Overnight in Guwahati.
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and visit the Assam State Museum (closed on Monday and National Holidays) and the Assam State Zoo and Botanical Garden.
Afternoon transfer to Kaziranga (250 Kms / 5hrs). Kaziranga was declared a National Park in 1974, and UNESCO declared Kaziranga a World Heritage Site in 1985. The park hosts two-thirds of the world’s population of Rhinos. Overnight in Kaziranga. (Breakfast)
Morning, enjoy a Jeep Safari inside the National Park. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are hog deer, swamp deer, wild buffalo, elephants, and if you are lucky, the tiger. It is virtually a paradise for bird watchers, with a variety of migratory and resident birds. It is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters as there are many water bodies inside the Park.
After breakfast at hotel, you can visit tea plantations, rubber plantations. Afternoon, enjoy a Jeep safari in the Central Range. Kaziranga is a vast expanse of tall elephant grass, marshland, and dense tropical moist broadleaf forests, crisscrossed by four major rivers, including the Brahmaputra, and the park includes numerous small bodies of water.

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Shillong (300 KMS / 5.5 hrs drive).
En route visit Umiam Lake – created by damming the Umiam River in the early 1960s. The principal catchment area of the lake and dam is spread over 220 square km.
Shillong – the capital of British-created Assam until 1972 – is now the capital and hill station of Meghalaya, also known as “The Abode of Clouds”, one of the smallest states in India. Overnight in Shillong. (Breakfast)
Morning, enjoy breakfast and then set out on an excursion trip to Cherapunjee (60 Kms / 2hrs one way). It is the traditional capital of the Nongkhlaw hima (Khasi tribal chieftainship) known as Sohra or Churra. Visit Dwan Syiem viewpoint, Noh Kalikai falls, Mawsmai caves, Seven Sister falls, Eco Park, etc. Later, drive back to Shillong. (Breakfast)
After breakfast, visit Mawlynnong village and Dawki (Bangladesh Border) a small town in the lap of the Jaintia Hills. Enjoy Boating on the River Umgot (On direct payment). Enjoy the Scenic Beauty in and around Dawki. Visit to Indo-Bangladesh Border. Mawlynnong village has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in Asia; also visit the Single Decker Living roots Bridge. Later drive back to Shillong. (Breakfast)
After breakfast, check out and enjoy Shillong local sightseeing covering Don Bosco Museum & Skywalk (closed on Sunday); Lady Hydari Park; Elephant Falls & Shillong Peak (if permitted by the army). Late afternoon transfer to Guwahati Airport for onward flight (130 Kms / 3hrs). TOUR ENDS. (Breakfast)

2) 29 to 15 days prior to the date of arrival: 25% of the total service cost + applicable GST
3) 14 to 07 days prior to the date of arrival: 50% of the total service cost + applicable GST
4) 06 to 03 days prior to the date of arrival: 75% of the total service cost + applicable GST
5) Less than 03 days prior to the date of arrival including No Show: 100% of the Total service Cost.
