Morning after breakfast transfer to Bishnupur (145 KM / 3.30 Hrs). Bishnupur is a town in the Bankura District of West Bengal. It is famous for its terracotta temples and balucharisarees. The town has a glorious past that is reflected in its rich architecture, music and handicrafts such as pottery and weaving. It prospered in the 17th and early 18th centuries. Ruled by a line of Hindu Rajas of the Malla dynasty, Bishnupur developed a unique form of architecture and has perhaps the most brilliant and detailed terracotta work in Eastern India that has withstood the ravages of time.
The history of Bishnupur can be traced back to 694 AD, when King Raghunath I founded the Malla dynasty. However, it was much later in 994 AD that the place was named Bishnupur. The name is derived from the name of the Hindu God ‘Vishnu’. The majority of the people belong to the ‘Vaishnava’ sect.

Later proceed for Shantiniketan (100Kms / 3hrs) famous due to Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore, whose vision became what is now a University Town – Visva-Bharati University;the place now attracts thousands of visitors each year.Evening free for individual activity. Overnight at Hotel.
Morning after breakfast full day Shantiniketan local sightseeing covering Uttaryan Complex (houses of Tagore- Udayan, Shyamali, Konarak, Udichi, Punashchha & Bichitra Museum) (closed on Wednesday and Thursday), Visva Bharati University Campus – from outside, Khoai, Kopai River, Amar Kutir& Deer Park at Ballavpur, Bird Sanctuary (Prokriti Bikhon Kendra), Prantik, Shyer Bithi (Eco- Park) at Lahabadh, SrijaniKankalitala (Sati Pith Temple). All cancellation has to be sent to us during office hours (Mon – Fri /1000Hrs 1700Hrs) only by Email/Fax and charges will be applicable as per the following:
1) Clear 30 days prior to the date of arrival: @ ₹ 1500.00 Per Pax.
2) 29 to 15 days prior to the date of arrival: 25% of the total service cost + applicable GST
3) 14 to 07 days prior to the date of arrival: 50% of the total service cost + applicable GST
4) 06 to 03 days prior to the date of arrival: 75% of the total service cost + applicable GST
5) Less than 03 days prior to the date of arrival including No Show: 100% of the Total service Cost.

Cancellation Refund will be processed within15 days from the date of cancellation and will be sent to you only by Bank Transfer after deducting the bank charges.
