Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival At Kolkata.

Welcome on arrival at Kolkata and Transfer to Hotel, Overnight at Hotel. Evening free for leisure. Kolkata is the city of Joy, contrast and culture. Once it was the capital of India and now is the capital of Bengal. A visit to Kolkata may bring visitors to be in touch with combination of a rich 300 years old cultural heritage, vibrant modern life and cultures of different communities. Situated on the banks of river Hooghly, Kolkata was the first headquarter of the East India Company and later served as the capital of British India until 1912.

Day 02: Kolkata Sightseeing (08 Hrs / 80kms).

Morning at 9.30 AM starts the full day city tour covering, the famous Howrah Bridge; drive by the old heritage buildings of BBD Bagh (Governor’s House, Writers’ Building, High Court, GPO), Victoria Memorial (museum closed on Monday and National Holidays), St. Paul’s Cathedral and Kalighat Temple; you will finish the day’s tour at the Mother Teresa’s House, the headquarter of the Missionaries of Charity. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 03: Kolkata - Bagdogra - Darjeeling

Check out and transfer to Airport to board onward flight to Bagdogra.

Welcome on arrival at Bagdogra and drive to Darjeeling (95Kms/ 2.5Hrs.). Dorje, the mystic thunderbolt of the Lama-Religion was the origin of the name Darjeeling, which was first discovered by a British Captain Lloyd in the year 1829. Surrounded by tea gardens Darjeeling is a land of infinite variety and charm which will cater you a mix-experience of lively nature & charming Himalayan people. This little town faces some of the highest peaks of the Himalayas. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at Hotel.

Day-04: Darjeeling Local Sightseeing

Early morning start for Tiger Hill to watch the spectacular sunrise and its amazing effects on the Mt. Kanchendzonga (World’s 3rd highest peak).

Breakfast at the Hotel followed by half day local sightseeing covering Padmaja N. Zoological Garden (Closed on Thursday), Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (Closed on Thursday), Tibetan Refugee Self-help Center (Closed on Sunday) and visit to the Mall and Local Market (Closed on Thursday). You might also Experience the famous Toy Train Joy Ride (subject to availability). This unique Mountain Railway’ project was first started in 1878 by the initiative of Sir. Ashley Eden and is now a World Heritage. Evening free for shopping & individual activity, overnight at hotel.

Day-05: Darjeeling To Gangtok.

Morning transfer to Gangtok (105kms/4hrs). At an altitude of 5500ft Gangtok is the capital of the state of Sikkim is a beautiful and clean town promising of the best monasteries and landscapes. Evening free for individual activity and leisure, overnight at hotel.

Day-06: Gangtok Local Sightseeing (9am To 5pm).

Early Morning starts the full day sightseeing in and around this capital city of Sikkim, covering Chortan (Stupa), Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday), Institute of Handicrafts and handlooms (Closed on Saturday and Sunday); Rumtek Monastery & Dharma Chakra Centre (24Kms/45Mins), of the Kagyu order – one of the 4 major Tibetan Buddhist Sect.  Evening at leisure.

Day-07: Excursion Trip To Tsomgo Lake.

Start for a trip to Tsomgo lake (12400ft), 32kms from Gangtok City. The lake is about 1Km long, oval in shape and 15 mtrs deep. The lake is considered sacred by the local people. Evening free at Gangtok for shopping and individual activity.

Day-08: Gangtok – Bagdogra / New Jalpaiguri.

Morning Transfer to Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (114kms/ 5hrs), Tour Ends.

Note: Very Importan
  1. Any Indian National visiting Sikkim is required to carry a Photo ID Proof (Voter ID / Passport / Driving License) in order to obtain Tsomgo Lake permit for the above.
  2. Foreign nationals must be accompanied by a local guide when visiting Tsomgo Lake. Supplement charges ₹ 3000.00 per guide will be applicable extra.
  3. Bangladeshi Passport Holders needs to obtain Restricted Area Permit (RAP) previously known as Inner Line Permit for visiting Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur & Mizoram on the strength of valid Indian Visa.
  4. For Permit for Tsomgo Lake and North Sikkim is issued for at least 02 Person (Foreign Nationals) travelling together. The application for the permit have to be made within 12 O Clock (at the latest) the day before the visit.
  5. Foreign Passport holders are not allowed to visit Baba Mandir and Nathula Pass

Cancellation Policy:

All cancellation has to be sent to us during office hours (Mon – Fri /1000Hrs 1700Hrs) only by Email/Fax and charges will be applicable as per the following:
1) Clear 30 days prior to the date of arrival: @ ₹ 1500.00 Per Pax.
2) 29 to 15 days prior to the date of arrival: 25% of the total service cost + applicable GST
3) 14 to 07 days prior to the date of arrival: 50% of the total service cost + applicable GST
4) 06 to 03 days prior to the date of arrival: 75% of the total service cost + applicable GST
5) Less than 03 days prior to the date of arrival including No Show: 100% of the Total service Cost.

Cancellation Refund will be processed within15 days from the date of cancellation and will be sent to you only by Bank Transfer after deducting the bank charges.
